Thanks for the really enjoyable stay on a business trip. All the staff members are attentive and efficient. A family twin room has basic facilities you need. The location is magnificent and quiet, 2 km from Nene Valley Railway. It has a main bar.

Friendly welcome, efficient and relaxed approach from the staff. All requests acted on. Room was comfortable and heated for a chilly June evening! Tea/coffee making facilities. Pub was lovely and the restaurant even better! Try the chargrilled steak - excellent. A great place to stay if you want a country break - beautiful scenery and close to main network.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and a first class, freshly cooked breakfast. The courtyard room was spacious and comfortable, nicely furnished, with good bathroom facilities.
One minor niggle was the noisy loo flush in our bathroom and we could hear the next rooms quite loudly too.

The friendly staff were great , even accommodating a late-night meal for one of our party. The pub atmosphere was warm and cute, and the dining experience was marked by fresh, tasty dishes. The shower in our room could benefit from improvement, and we encountered a minor issue with the toilet seat. Despite these, the overall experience was enjoyable.

The staff were very pleasant and attentive and happy to help, the food was good, the service was excellent, the accommodation was comfortable and the setting was lovely. All in all highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing break with some lovely walks beside the river.
Not suitable if you want to be in the centre of things. Have to drive everywhere for night life. The restaurant can get very busy at weekends when service is a little slow, understandably.
